Note. Mrs. F. Corbin in the Harrison Genealogy, states: "Thankful Harrison mar. Rev. John Cornwall." I think this may be an error.
Rev. John Cornwall, father of Eden (New Haven Gen. Mag. July 1924, p. 461) states that by his 2nd wife, Abigail Maltbie, he had Eden, bp. May 4, 1766 (N.H.C.2) and Lydia, bp. Jan. 20, 1771 (N.H.C.2). Eden resided at Stamford, Conn., d. 22 Aug. 1833. Consequently Thankful Harrison, b. 1764, did not marry Rev. John Cornwall, who was b. in 1738.

(Note. "Noah Rogers" is a Branford name which comes into this Maltby Genealogy various times, but I have no way of tracing the Rogers line of descent).

Apr. 13, 1747, dau. of Isaac and Elizabeth dau. of Michael and Eliz. (Brown) Todd, son of Isaac and Rebecca Tuttle, Dayton, son of Samuel Dayton. Rebecca Tuttle was dau. of Jonathan and Rebecca, dau. of Lieut. Francis Bell of Stamford.
Nathan Mansfield was son of Deacon Jonathan and Sarah (Alling) Mansfield, he a son of John and Susanna (Coe) Alling, who was son of Roger Alling.
Col. William Lyon was a noted antiquary; the first cashier of the old New Haven bank, the first bank established in the city. After the death of his father, he supported and educated his sisters, as shown by an agreement, Dec. 17, 1792. "In consideration of support and education received from our brother William Lyon, after decease of our father, we give up to him all right and interest in said father's estate."
